Mess Makers I have 3 little mess makers,
they make a mess each day.
No matter how hard I try
the mess never goes away.

The holidays start today
and I know what happens now.
I have to try to keep ahead
of the mess makers somehow.

A challenge it is going to be
to keep the mess away.
I must make sure I keep on top,
of my mess makers each day.

I know spilled juice and icecream cones
and paint and sticky glue.
Will all soon cover my clean floor;
but somehow I will get through.

You see I love my mess makers
they're gifts from God above.
And no matter how much mess they make,
my kids I'll always love.

I know that juice can be cleaned up,
and marker washed away.
I know my work will never end
all throughout the day.

But my kids mean much more to me
than a sparkly clean floor.
So this holiday I'll forget the mess
and together we'll explore.

We'll read together watch T.V.,
take a walk down the street.
We'll play some games, go to the beach
then eat a yummy treat.

The years I have with my 3 kids
will only last awhile.
Then maybe once they've grown up
those papers I will file.

The mess can wait another day,
it seems it's here to stay.
But my mess makers need me now
before they go away.
