The Magic of Christmas

The magic of Christmas will soon be here,
It’s a time to celebrate with cheer.
It’s time to remember our Jesus birth,
The night He came down to live on this earth.
We’ll sing of His birth and we’ll tell of His love,
We’ll rejoice with each other and praise God above.




We’ll set out the angels and shepherds too,
The house will just sparkles when we get through.
The tree will be standing so tall and so grand,
It will shine and look beautiful just like we planned.
Gifts will be bought and wrapped with care,
And beautiful clothes will be bought to wear.
We’ll have stockings and candles and mistletoe too,
And we’ll eat lots of goodies the whole season through.




On the mantel goes Santa, his reindeer nearby,
We’ll imagine that he and his reindeer can fly.
Frosty of course we’ll have join in the fun,
And we’ll watch Christmas specials, new and old ones.
A gingerbread house will be baked and then made,
Then we’ll head out the door to see Santa’s parade.





Yes the magic of Christmas will soon be here,
We’ll have fun with family and friends who are near.
We all get so busy with so much to do,
We want it just perfect the whole season through.
But let’s all remember while we celebrate,
While we shop, and do baking and even decorate.
That it’s Jesus birthday, He’s why we have cheer,
He’s why we all celebrate this time of year.




So include Him this Christmas, don’t leave Jesus out,
For He is the reason "Merry Christmas" we shout.
Laugh and have fun through the holiday season,
And celebrate Jesus for He is the reason!
