Celebrate the Son

Jesus Christ came as a babe
Two thousand years ago.
When He arrived a star shone bright
So everyone would know.

Shepherds and wisemen came to see
This blessed baby boy.
They looked in wonder at this Child,
 their hearts so filled with joy.

The angels sang praises to God
For sending us His Son,
And all who gathered there that night
Worshiped this little One.

Joy to the world the Lord has come
Let’s celebrate His birth.
Let’s praise His name and shout for joy
He came to save the earth.

He is the only gift we need
At Christmas and all year.
For Jesus came to bring us life
And hope instead of fear

Let’s celebrate this little One,
Not just on Christmas morn.
But everyday we live on earth
Let’s thank God He was born.

Come one and all, let’s all join in
And celebrate the Son.
Let’s all bow down and honor Him,
God’s precious chosen One
