 
 
Turn To The Father
Sadness and sorrow are part of this life,
Many days are filled with much strife.
We think that by hiding the hurts that we face,
That life will be fine if we keep up with the pace.
Sometimes though we just have to admit,
That a problem won't vanish if we try to forget.
We must stop pretending that all is just fine,
We must start trusting in the Great One Divine.
Jesus can help you forget all your fears,
And He can wash away all your tears.
Just call out to Him wherever you are,
Cause one thing we know is that He's never far.
He's waiting for you to call out His name,
He'll take all your worries, your sin and your shame.
He'll take your sadness, His joy will fill you,
He'll give you the strength that you need to get through.
So on those days when you just can't cope,
Turn to the Father and He'll give you hope.
