Forever In Your Arms
I long to be beside you Lord,
To reach and touch your face.
To walk with You and hold Your hand,
And feel Your sweet embrace.
I long to dance before Your throne,
Singing songs of praise.
To live in heaven with You Lord,
Worshipping You always.
I often dream You're here with me,
I see Your lovely face.
I look at You and then I melt,
Into Your warm embrace.
You look so deep into my eyes,
There's nothing I can hide.
Although my heart is filled with sin,
Your arms stay open wide.
This is the place I long to be,
Forever in Your arms.
I know I'll never be afraid,
You'll keep me safe from harm.
But then you whisper in my ear,
"I'm here just trust in me,
I promise you I'll never leave,
With you I'll always be".
I heard Your voice so clearly Lord,
And looked around for You.
You stirred my heart and then I knew,
Your promises are true.
I do not have to see Your face,
To know You're here with me.
You just want me to trust in You,
And believe You'll always be.
You hold my hand when I am scared,
You take my pain away.
You hold me in Your loving arms,
Each and every day.
You look so deep into my heart,
There's nothing I can hide.
Although my heart is filled with sin,
Your arms stay open wide.
