Perfect Love


When I think of you Lord,
Amazing comes to mind.
But truly that is not enough, 
So the perfect word I’ll find.

There’s Awesome and so Beautiful,
Most Worthy One above
But they too do not say enough
About the One I Love.

You’re Wonderful, You’re Saving Grace,
Messiah and The King.
You’re Everlasting, Prince of Peace,
And You are Everything.

But all the names that come to mind, 
There’s not one perfect one.
That describes just who You are, 
And the perfect things You’ve done.

I guess You’re indescribable,
That is who You are!
You are way more perfect 
Than any word so far.

So as I sit and think of You 
I think this is not right!
There has to be a perfect word
Oh Lord what can I write?

You’re perfect and your loving
Yes, you are Perfect Love!
You’re Love that never fades away
You’re Love sent from above.

Perfect Love is who You are
That’s who You are to me
 And I’ll tell everyone I know
That Your Love set me free.
